Lost Generation: The Story of a Sudanese Orphan has an unusually noble purpose: to raise funds for the New Sudan Jonglei Orphans Foundation (NSJOF), the non-profit organization Peter Garang Deng founded so Sudanese orphans might have the chance of an education. Deng himself was orphaned at the age of five and passed from one cruel relative to another in one of the most impoverished and dangerous areas of the world. He graduated in 2011 from Champlain College. All profits are used in Sudan to fund private education for orphans. CCPI students transcribed, edited, copy-edited, designed and launched this book, and rebuilt the website supporting it. Click here to buy the book on Lulu.com.
