Not exactly a sequel to her first play 25 Squirrels but more like a cousin who hangs out on the same threadbare couch, The Hot Pink Meltdown is another signature Ali Wisch play, this time featuring a toilet painted neon pink. Once again her dead-on ear for slacker dialogue and her expert knowledge of the adolescence-perpetuating habits of the twenty-something male create a hilarious sequence of events in which a series of great ideas make their lives go from bad to very, very painful. The Hot Pink Meltdown, published in 2011, also contains her first play, 25 Squirrels, and was designed, laid out, publicized and launched on the Champlain campus by CCPI students.
