The Short, Sweet Guide to Dialogue

short sweet guide

The ability to skillfully write dialogue is essential to all writers, whether journalists or playwrights. Yet many writers lack the ability to write such valuable dialogue, let alone how to properly punctuate it. That’s where this book comes in. The Short, Sweet Guide to Dialogue, published in 2009 and written by Tim Brookes and Natalia Yaacob, shows students just how to garner this skill. The book covers every fine detail involved in writing first-rate dialogue, from style to punctuation, all in seventy-nine easy-to-read pages. Brookes teaches in the Professional Writing Program at Champlain College; Natalia graduated from Champlain in 2009. Editing, layout and design by CCPI students.
